Revo XEF Advance 4.6 works with iOS version 14.8 or later

Starting from version 4.6 of Revo XEF Advance, improvements are introduced in the application. This change means that version 4.6 of Revo XEF Advance is not compatible with devices running older versions of iOS (earlier than iOS 14.8). These devices that cannot be updated to iOS 14.8 (or later versions) will become obsolete and will no longer be able to use Revo XEF Advance. This change is due to performance and optimisation improvements in our solution.

If I have a device with an iOS version earlier than 14.8, and I want to keep using it, what can I do?

  • It will not be possible to use Revo XEF Advance; you will need to use the latest version of Revo XEF available on the Apple Store.

How do I know which iOS version I currently have?

  • Check your current iOS version in your device’s settings.

WHAT'S NEW:

  • Associate a customer to the order from quick actions

Now you will be able to associate the customer to the order from the quick actions of the table without having to access it. When associating the customer, it will show their general information, such as most purchased products, allergens, etc.

  • New permissions

The permission "Preferences" has been divided into different sections. This way, your employees will only be able to access certain functionalities.

A new permission "Device Preferences" has been added, allowing you to easily modify the preferences configured in the back office.

  • Payment reference

You can now add a payment reference in the Redsys pinpad and Revo Pay Link integrations, and it will be displayed on the invoice.

  • Enable sales formats by product

Now, when synchronising between master and child accounts, you can enable or disable sales formats in products, and they will be displayed correctly in the app.

FIXED:

Resolved the following issues:

  • The issue that prevented adding a cash float in payment methods when a cash machine was in use.
  • The issue that didn’t generate an invoice with a €0 payment from the table’s quick actions.
  • The issue where the product name didn’t display correctly when accessing its details if it had no image.
  • The issue where the refund time didn’t appear correctly on the invoice with French tax regulations.
  • The issue that prevented changing a dish’s order in a menu if quick entry was not enabled.
  • The issue that didn’t correctly associate a customer if they existed in both Revo XEF and Revo INTOUCH.
  • The issue that allowed adding more products to the order while they were printing in the kitchen, generating duplicates.
