1. WHAT IS IMACASH?

Imacash is a software for connecting POS systems with cash control machines.

By connecting your cash control machines to your POS system, ImaCash allows you to efficiently track your company's transactions, maintain full control over available cash, and streamline administrative processes from a single platform and in real time.

The simplified interface makes it easy for any employee to operate the software. You can associate sales with employees, keep records of cash by denomination, configure change return, and much more.

3. CONFIGURATION IN REVO


CREATING THE CASH MACHINE WITH IMACASH

To create your cash machine with ImaCash in REVO, follow these steps:

1. Go to the back-office of Revo XEF.

2. Navigate to Configuration / CASH MACHINES.

3. Click on + New and complete the information:



  • Name: Enter a name for the cash machine.

  • Type: Choose ImaCash.

  • IP: Enter the IP address of the server where ImaCash is installed.

4. Click on Save.


ASSIGNING THE IMACASH MACHINE TO THE CASHIER

After creating the ImaCash cash machine, assign it to a cashier:

1. Go to Configuration / CASHIERS.

2. Edit an existing cashier or create a new one.

3. Under Cash Machine, select the created cash machine.



You can create the cash machine directly by clicking the button.

4. Click on Save.


4. HOW TO USE THE IMACASH CASH MACHINE IN THE REVO XEF APP?

Collecting an order

To collect an order with the ImaCash cash machine, simply press the cash payment icon. At this point, Revo XEF will connect to the cash machine to manage the payment, and once the transaction is complete, Revo XEF will close the order.

Processing a refund

To process a refund for an order paid with the ImaCash cash machine, open the Revo XEF App, tap on the r and select the History option. Inside, select the corresponding order and tap on quick actions (the three-dot icon). From the dropdown menu, select the option: Process a refund. Once confirmed, Revo XEF will connect to the cash machine to handle the refund.

Making cash deposits

To make a cash deposit, open the Revo XEF App, tap on the r and select the Deposits/Withdrawals option. Choose the Deposit option, enter a reason, specify the amount of cash to deposit, and confirm . Revo XEF will connect to the cash machine to process the deposit, and you’ll only need to insert the desired amount of cash.

Making cash withdrawals

To make a cash withdrawal, open the Revo XEF App, tap on the r and select the Deposits/Withdrawals option. Choose the Withdrawal option, enter a reason, specify the amount of cash to withdraw, and confirm . Revo XEF will connect to the cash machine to process the withdrawal.


5. PAYMENT SCREEN

When the cash payment button is pressed, a screen with the following information appears:

1. Total amount to be paid.

2. Amount already inserted into the cash machine.

3. Status of the cash machine.

4. Cancel the current transaction. Canceling will void the ongoing payment, and the machine will return the already inserted cash.

Do we have a record of the transactions made in Revo XEF with a cash machine of type ImaCash?

Yes, there are Action Logs for each action performed during the integration. These transactions can be reviewed using the "Activity Log" list in the Revo XEF back-office.

Is there any way to check the coins inserted into any cash machine of type ImaCash?

For now, this is only possible with the ImaCash window active.

In the general configuration of ImaCash, the following checkbox must be enabled:

  • Automatic payment window: Displays the payment form automatically when a new sale is received.

Additionally, the following option can also be enabled:

  • Secondary payment window: Displays a secondary informational form for the customer to see the operation.


What happens if an amount greater than the payment amount is inserted? Does the machine give change?

Yes, the machine will give change as long as there are enough coins and bills available. If an amount greater than the payment amount is inserted, the machine will return the difference.

What happens if we make a refund and the machine has no money?

Since it’s a refund and there isn’t enough change, the transaction will remain pending in ImaCash. In the Revo XEF app, the screen will show "processing refund," but ImaCash will notify through its windows about the lack of cash. Therefore, until the "x" button is pressed in the Revo XEF window to cancel the operation, the transaction will not be removed from ImaCash's queue. Afterward, the machine needs to be refilled, and the refund process can be completed.

It is important to note that ImaCash is not a cash drawer; it is primarily an integration software. It allows numerous actions that default cash drawers do not support.

What happens if the machine doesn’t have enough cash to give change?

In all cases, ImaCash will notify through its screen that the inventory is insufficient. You must press to acknowledge the lack of change. ImaCash will then process the transaction, and the sale will be completed in REVO.

NOTE: For specific cases where ImaCash detects an error while attempting to process a sale or refund, it is crucial to keep the ImaCash window visible to monitor what is happening.

Can we perform operations such as balance inquiries, refills, withdrawals, status reports, etc., with the Prosegur cash machine?

From Revo XEF, only payment, refund, cash deposit, and withdrawal operations can be performed. All other operations can be conducted via ImaCash. Keep in mind that operations performed through ImaCash will not be recognized or recorded by Revo XEF.

How can I perform operations through the Prosegur cash machine screen?

For information on how to use and perform any type of action in ImaCash, you can consult this manual.

NOTE: It is recommended to always maintain a sufficient level of coins and bills to provide change and avoid inconvenience.

NOTE: Operations performed through ImaCash will not be recorded by Revo XEF.

NOTE: All operations (sales, refunds, deposits, and withdrawals) should be managed exclusively from the Revo XEF app, leaving ImaCash in the background and using it only for specific actions with the cash machine, such as refilling, emptying, etc.
