OLD VERSIONS OF IOS



DESCRIPTION:

Starting from Revo RETAIL version 2.4, the minimum required iOS version has been changed to iOS 13.6 or higher. This change is due to the implementation of performance improvements and optimization of our solution, making the most of the new features of Apple's operating system.


If I have a device with an iOS version older than 13.6, what should I do?

We have two options:

  • Update your device to iOS version 13.6 or higher, and then we can install the new Revo RETAIL version 2.4.

  • If one or more devices do not allow this update, there's no need to worry; you can continue using Revo RETAIL in its previous version 2.3.4.


How do I know which iOS version I currently have?

You can check the current iOS version in your device's settings.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE AN IOS VERSION LOWER THAN 13.6 AND I HAVE DELETED THE REVO APP?

In this case, you will encounter an error message when trying to download REVO from the App Store.



SOLUTION:

To reinstall version 2.3.4 (which is the latest version available with a minimum iOS version of 13.6), follow these steps:

1. On your device, access the App Store.




2. Go to the profile and tap on Purchases.




3. In the list, locate the Revo RETAIL app (Revo RETAIL: POS/TPV for businesses) or use the search function.

4. Tap on the icon.




5. In the appearing message, tap on Download.




6. After the version is installed, tap on Open.




7. Once this process is completed, if you check the REVO menu, you will see that version 2.3.4 has been successfully installed.




WHAT IF I HAVE ACQUIRED A SECOND-HAND DEVICE WITH AN IOS VERSION LOWER THAN 13.6 AND WANT TO INSTALL REVO?

In this case, you will need to associate the device with an Apple ID where a version of REVO has been previously installed and follow the steps above.
