Revo Handy is our all-in-one terminal. We will be able to manage orders, print tickets, process payments, all on the same device.
1. PREVIOUS CONSIDERATIONS

If a customer wants to add Revo HANDY to the Revo XEF account, they must request from their bank the Android dataphone model PAX A920 (BBVA) or ITOS CM5/CM35 (Comercia, CaixaBank).

In order to make card payments through Revo HANDY, we must have the Smartpay (BBVA) or SmartPOSComercia (CaixaBank) payment application installed, configured and working correctly on the phone.

Add Revo HANDY (order-dataphone) to a Revo XEF account as an extra device to the corresponding account.

If we receive the dataphone without the Revo HANDY application, we will have to provide REVO with the FUC/Trade number, tax name of the trade and CIF of the company. We will obtain this data when configuring the Virtual POS.
When starting with the configuration of the Redsys virtual gateway we will receive an email from Redsys with the FUC number.
In addition, we also have the Redsys administration module where we can get all the configuration data and see all the transactions.
From here, internally we will directly request the bank to register the Revo HANDY app on the dataphone assigned to the customer and the bank will correctly enable the application.
Note: To use Revo HANDY it is not necessary to set up a payment gateway, it is carried by the device itself.
2. HOW TO CONFIGURE REVO HANDY?
First, we need to enable the Revo HANDY license in the Revo XEF account.
From there, you need to add the integration.
Enter the Revo XEF back-office and follow the following steps:
1. Click on the device Integrations.
2. Add.
3. Look for Handy.
4. Add.
5. In the integration, you will see the following:

Enabled: √

Name: Identification name of the integration.

Test: Off
-
Payment gateway: SmartPay or Comercia.
Click on Save.
From here we will have Revo HANDY configured correctly.
3. PRINT IN THE KITCHEN WITH REVO HANDY
To correctly print the orders created in Revo HANDY in the kitchen, you must have the Print Revo HANDY orders option enabled in the Preferences from the REVO menu in the Revo XEF app.
4. POSSIBLE ERRORS AND HOW TO SOLVE THEM
- When going to pay by card, the Revo HANDY app closes and a message appears indicating that Revo HANDY has stopped.
This means that the Smartpay (BBVA) or SmartPOSComercia (CaixaBank) payment application is not installed or is not configured correctly on the dataphone. By pressing the card icon, the payment application should automatically be opened to make the corresponding payment.
- Revo HANDY app blocked:
1. First of all close the Revo HANDY app from the background applications and open it again.
2. Once the Revo HANDY app is open, press twice in a row on the version number (for example “v2.1.1”) (at the bottom right).
3. The Debug Mode screen will appear. We must make sure that in Server Production is selected and press SAVE. This will reset the app.
4. Let's log in again.
Note: If the previous steps do not work, close the app again, open it again and go to the same screen, but instead of SAVE press “DELETE APP’S DATA”. If all that didn't work, restart your device.
