1. WHAT ARE VOUCHERS?

Vouchers in Revo SOLO are used solely to apply discounts to orders, either automatically or by providing them directly to customers.

2. HOW ARE VOUCHERS CONFIGURED?

Vouchers can be configured in the back-office of SOLO, under the Marketing / VOUCHERS section.

Here we can:

  • +New: Create a new voucher.

  • Multiple creation: Create multiple new vouchers at once.

  • : Edit voucher.

  • : Delete voucher.

  • | : Deactivate or activate a voucher.

  • : Change the order of vouchers.

  • Voucher uses: Clicking on this button takes us to the list of Vouchers.

  • Establishments: we can choose whether to apply the vouchers to specific establishments; if none is specified, the coupon will be applicable to all.

When creating or editing a coupon, we have the following configuration options:

  • Name: Define the name you want for the coupon.

  • Activate: Indicate whether the coupon is active or inactive.

  • Apply automatically: If we activate this option, vouchers will be added automatically at the end of the order, provided the requirements are met. If left deactivated, we must provide the coupon directly to customers for manual entry.

Important: If we have multiple vouchers that apply automatically, the order configured in the back-office will determine which one is used.
On the other hand, if a customer is part of a group with discounts, the coupon will take precedence.

  • Modes: This dropdown allows us to choose to which SOLO modes the coupon will apply. If none is selected, it can be used in any type of order. We can choose between:

    • Pickup
    • Delivery
    • Table
    • Collectivity
    • Immediate pickup

  • Code: The coupon code, by default, will be assigned a random value, but we can modify it to our liking.

  • Type: We have three types of coupons to choose from:

    • Percentage: The defined discount will be a percentage of the total order.
    • Total: The discount will be a fixed amount.
    • Shipping charges: The shipping charge defined in SOLO will be automatically deducted.

  • Discount: This option is available when selecting "Percentage" and "Total" types. In the case of a percentage, we indicate the discount in %, and in the case of total, we indicate it with an amount.

  • Maximum value: Only appears if we use a percentage coupon; here we can define a maximum amount. For example, if we set a value of €10, even if the coupon calculates that a higher amount should be applied by percentage, the discount will never exceed €10.

  • Usage limit: We have three types of limitations on voucher usage, depending on the one we choose, we can specify the details:

    • Single use: The coupon can only be used once.
    • Unlimited: The coupon will always be applicable as long as it is active.
    • Uses per period: We can choose a usage limit for different time periods.

  • Usage count: If we have chosen a usage limit of "Single use" or "Uses per period," this dropdown allows us to choose whether the limitation applies globally (Global) or is specific per customer (Per customer).

  • Uses per period/Period: When using the limitation per period, these options will appear; in the first, we indicate the total number of uses, and in the second, the time period to which it applies.

  • Minimum value: In this section, we can limit the minimum amount required to use a coupon. If the order total does not exceed this amount, the coupon will not be applicable.

  • Quantity: Number of copies to create.

Note: This option will only appear if we use multiple creation of vouchers.
