With Revo Retail you can add different types of discounts and they can be applied in different ways.

DISCOUNT TYPES:

Preestablished discounts:

These discounts are directly created in the Back Office and shown in the app to be simply selected and applied.

  • Active: If it is active, it can be viewed in the App.
  • Name: Name of the discount.
  • Display Name: Enter the name to be shown on the invoice.
  • Applies to: A discount can be applied in three different situations:
    • Both: The discount can be applied to the entire account and also to individual products.
    • Contents: The discount can only be applied to products.
    • Order: The discount can only be applied to the account.
  • Percentage: Activate this option to apply a percentage. If it is not activated, the discount amount will be applied.
  • Amount: Enter the percentage amount, or else the total amount for the discount.

The Revo Retail App shows it as a list:

Note: To be able to apply discounts in the App, you must have the discount permission. If you don’t, the system will issue a message indicating that you do not have permission.

Custom discounts

In the App, you also have the option to create a customized discount to use it in a sale in real time. The operation is very similar to that of the Back Office.

  • Enter the name.
  • Activate the option if you want to use a percentage, or deactivate it if you want to enter the amount of the discount.
  • Enter the value.

Note: To be able to apply discounts in the App, you must have the discount permission. If you don’t, the system will issue a message indicating that you do not have permission. There is also a permission for customized discounts.

Discounts to customer groups

In the Back Office, you can configure customer groups to apply a specific discount on all sales assigned to the customer and in a fully automatic way. Find out more about client groups [here] (/Articles/158).

When, during a sale, you select a customer with a discount assigned to groups of customers, the discount is applied automatically.

WHERE AND HOW TO APPLY THE DISCOUNTS:

Both the customized and the preestablished discounts can be applied to products or to the entire complete ticket.

1. Discounts to Products

Once the products are added in an order:

  • Click on a product
  • Click on Discount on the next screen.
  • Select a preset list discount or click on a customized discount.

Note: This discount will apply only to the product or products of the same line.

  • To cancel the discount, press again on the product.
  • Select again Discount.
  • Click on No Discount

2. Discounts on the entire ticket

  • At the bottom of the ticket, click on the button
  • Select a preset list discount or click on a personalized discount on the screen that appears.

Note: This discount will be applied to the total of the entire sale.

  • To cancel the discount, simply swipe from right to left over the discount.
  • Select the red button Delete.

Note: This same gesture is used to delete products from a ticket.
